People, purpose & participation

Good technology starts with people.

We want AI awareness to make people more informed, more capable and less alone—not pressured to adopt every new tool.

Founder-led · independent initiative

Hi, I’m Darko.

I’m an entrepreneur with a background in computer science, digital security, geospatial technology, AI and big data. AI Down Under is a founder-led effort to help people across Australia and the Asia-Pacific make sense of AI and try useful things with care.

The resources are free to read and download without an email gate. The point is not to sell certainty: it is to help people ask better questions, keep their judgement, and pass on something useful.

This introduction uses the founder’s supplied background. It is not a claim of independent credential verification. We have not announced partner organisations or appointed specialist reviewers.

Our version of a ripple

  1. Learn one useful distinction.
  2. Try a small activity and check what happened.
  3. Explain the useful part in your own words.
  4. Invite one person to try it—only if they want to.
  5. Bring back an improvement so the next person has a better experience.

Share kindly.

No guilt, mandatory forwards, claims of a movement we haven’t built, or public stories about people without permission. A decision not to use AI can be a good result. Evidence of benefit has to be earned through real reader experiences.

There’s room to help.

We welcome specific corrections, accessible-language suggestions, teaching ideas, and expressions of interest in specialist or community-led review. First Nations and Pacific contributions need appropriate authority, consent, attribution and agreed terms—not an AI substitute for those relationships.

Contribution intake is unavailable. You can still use and share the blank resources.
